Welcome to May’s edition of our Apprentice of the Month campaign!

With summer well and truly on its way and golden hour gracing our evenings, it’s time to extend what has already been a month of celebration and bank holiday fun and announce this month’s phenomenal winner and outstanding nominees.

We’ve already seen various celebrations take place worldwide; with the King’s coronation and the MET Gala lighting up our social media screens, it’s now time to roll out that red carpet and honour this year’s AOTM winner…

APPRENTICE OF THE MONTH

May’s Apprentice of the Month has been awarded to Holly Christie, a Level 3 Digital Marketing apprentice at Age UK.

Holly was nominated by Trainee Marketing Manager, Josh Smith, who had nothing but high praise about Holly’s apprenticeship journey and work ethic.

Holly has been with us for three months now and is already an essential member of the Marketing Team. She has proven that she has a natural talent for marketing and has also shown that she has a very strong work ethic. I know I can trust Holly to work efficiently and manage her time well without supervision or micro-management.”

Holly has created some design work using Canva and has recently downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud to be able to start creating more complex designs. Holly clearly has a passion and talent for the creative side of marketing, so I’m looking forward to seeing the results she is able to produce with more advanced tools.”

“Holly is also excelling at the academic side of her apprenticeship, having recently passed her first exam with an impressive 85%. She studies hard and makes sure to set aside time for reading and revision. Holly has also completed learning outside of what has been set by Baltic and has gone above and beyond to make sure she has the knowledge she needs to complete her apprenticeship.”

“I’m absolutely delighted to have Holly on my team. Not only is she a hard worker, but she’s also a pleasure to have as a colleague. Her confidence and approachability mean she is already well-liked and trusted by the rest of the organisation. We’re lucky to have Holly, and I hope she chooses to stay on with Age UK North Tyneside once she finishes her apprenticeship.”

STAND OUT NOMINEES

We want to extend the celebration by showcasing some of our stand-out nominees who have been recognised for their hard work and commitment to the workplace by their employers.

Bronte reeve, mccm

Bronte has been exceptional this month! Not only did she achieve 100% in her recent Baltic workshops, but she has also contributed massively to successes in the office recently.  Her work rate has doubled and as a result, has secured business for MCCM and generated amazing social media results for us personally and the clients she is working with, utilising the training Baltic are providing and the mentorship and advice from our wider team. She deserves recognition for these results.

jakub Napierala, north star

Jakub joined North Star a couple of months ago and has made an excellent impression on the whole organisation. No task is too much, and he is very keen to learn and progress. Despite being in the early stages of his apprenticeship, Jakub has already navigated some difficult areas and converted them into great data, PowerBI visual for the organisation. Including a fantastic dashboard tracking the organisation’s Investors in People scoring since 2017; which saw a personal email from the Executive Director of Culture and People to Jakub, to thank him.”

amir fellah, omlet

From day one, Amir has shown a strong willingness to learn, so after our busiest month ever here at Omlet, it was no surprise that he took everything in his stride and was willing to go above and beyond to help out the rest of the team. Amir has also recently taken on a new challenge where he has shown great initiative, working on an influencer campaign for a new product launch, which was a huge success with over 5 million views and rounded it off with an amazing report too! We’re super proud of all his achievements so far.

brandon, it managed limited

“Brandon has demonstrated an excellent work ethic, and fully embraced the values and expectations of ourselves here at IT Managed, making an excellent start to his apprenticeship here. Brandon takes on any task assigned to him with the upmost enthusiasm and never shies away from a challenge when presented to him, always looking to expand his knowledge and understanding of the technologies being used. We have all been really impressed with the speed that Brandon has developed in his short time here, along with managing all aspects of the training material provided by Baltic and integrating himself as a valued member of the team. It is no surprise to have seen Brandon receive the Apprentice of the Week, and hope that he continues to receive recognition for the hard work he is applying throughout his apprenticeship, and beyond.”
