National Apprenticeship Week is back from the 5th – 11th February 2024! Woo 🎉
This celebratory week provides us with the opportunity to recognise the huge impact apprenticeships have on both learners and employers – from starting careers to creating a more positive work culture.
National Apprenticeship Week is our favourite time of the year and we can’t believe it’s already been a year since the last one.
After the success of last year, the theme this year is Skills for Life.
Skills for Life is all about unlocking professional potential by gaining valuable lifelong, transferable skills. Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to upskill – whether you are taking your first step onto the career ladder, making a career change, or progressing in your current industry.

Monday 5th February
Theme: Apprenticeships for All ✨
What’s happening? We’re kicking off National Apprenticeship Week with a bang, and celebrating apprenticeships in all their glory. Apprenticeships are an accessible route into education, meaning everyone over 16 has an opportunity to gain valuable skills and workplace experience.
Look out for… Our apprenticeships for all video. To kick off NAW we wanted to showcase that apprenticeships are open to all. All ages, all sectors, all levels, all backgrounds.
We will be active on our social media channels, liking and sharing posts that use the #NAW2024 hashtag on social posts. Make sure to get involved!

This is an online careers panel to provide current and potential learners more insight into our apprenticeship routeway and a professional Software career path.

Tuesday 6th February
Theme: Employer Tuesday 👩🏻💻
What’s happening? Employers, this is your time to shine! Today is all about celebrating great employers, and well… we know a few!
We partner with hundreds of amazing employers of all shapes and sizes, from SMEs to large enterprises, to deliver tech and digital apprenticeships.
Look out for… Our Employer spotlight videos. Across the day, we will post 4 videos to celebrate the impact of our tech and digital programmes. We will hear the impact our programmes have had on Matillion, The One Point, Techedia, and Lesters.

Wednesday 7th February
Theme: Apprentice Wednesday 📚
What’s happening? Apprentices, past and present… let’s go!
Today is about promoting what is possible through doing an apprenticeship. Share your success stories on social media and let everyone know you’re proud to be an apprentice.
Baltic apprentices, make sure to use the #NAW2024 hashtag and tag us! We love celebrating your career journeys, so we will be sharing all your success stories today.
Look out for… Our apprentice spotlight videos. Across the day, we will post 4 videos to celebrate some of our fantastic apprentices. We will look at where they started their career journey and where they are now – showing just about anything is possible after completing an apprenticeship!

Look out for… Our posts across our social media channels celebrating the impact our programmes have had on apprentices and employers.
We also have a collaboration with Tech Talent Engine over on our TikTok, where we look at the ways an apprenticeship could change your life.
Join in: Our award season. It’s time to celebrate the people who really matter – the people who work hard every day, support you at work, and ensure you are set up for success. As of Friday 9th February, the nominations for the Baltic Apprenticeship Awards 2024 are OPEN!

What’s happening? National Apprenticeship Week comes and goes too fast! We will be sad to see another National Apprenticeship Week come to an end, but we will be celebrating the success of #NAW2024 across the weekend.
Look out for… Final celebrations, silly TikTok’s, behind-the-scenes footage, and a roundup of the week for good luck!
