Introduction to AI

We’re committed to building sought-after critical AI skills and preparing our learners for the new digital economy, so all our apprentices are enrolled on our Introduction to AI course.

The most notable barrier for businesses looking to introduce AI into daily operations is a lack of internal AI skills, with a quarter of organisations reporting that they struggle to find employees with the necessary skills to implement and manage AI technologies.

Our interactive 3-part course provides our learners with a comprehensive overview of AI; understanding its origins, categories, and capabilities. Learners will understand use cases for AI models, and be able to successfully implement appropriate models into their role while following relevant ethical regulations.

Apprenticeship Funding

There is a range of government funding and local authority grant schemes available, which are designed to help you train the next wave of talent or invest in your team’s professional development.

Large organisations with an annual salary bill over £3 million are required to contribute to the Apprenticeship Levy. The Apprenticeship Levy is a dedicated apprenticeship fund, which employers can use to cover the costs of apprenticeship training and assessment.

For SMEs & Microbusinesses that do not pay into the Apprenticeship Levy, the Government will fund 100% of apprenticeship training and assessment costs for apprentices aged 16 – 21 and 95% for apprentices aged 22 and over.

COURSE CONTENT

COURSE 1

Understanding marketing theory empowers marketers to design strategic, measurable campaigns that provide a good ROI. In this course, we empower learners to drive impactful and compliant marketing strategies, covering essential marketing theory, planning, and content creation to ensure participants understand the impact of end-to-end campaign efforts. Participants will grasp legal compliance and expectations to safeguard your business in today’s digital landscape.

Over two days, learners will:

  • Build and implement effective marketing plans that promote consistency across channels and brand messaging.
  • Set SMART marketing objectives that align with wider company goals, ensuring marketing efforts are targeted and results-driven.
  • Understand key legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, data protection, and copyright law.

COURSE 2

Impactful campaigns that resonate with your target audience drive business growth. This course teaches participants to create effective personas, ensuring that customers can be segmented and led through the marketing funnel with targeted campaigns. Participants will learn to engage customers and enhance customer experience while following ethical and inclusive best practices.

Over two days, learners will:

  • Segment audiences and create customer personas to ensure the right message reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • Understand the strategic role each stage of the customer journey plays in guiding potential buyers through decision-making.
  • Learn the crucial relationship between sales and marketing, and analyse the impact of marketing on customer service and experience.

COURSE 3

Strengthen business capabilities with critical skills in competitor research and supplier management. In this course, we build practical expertise in campaign management, competitor analysis, and design principles, learning to create and adapt content for online and offline mediums. Participants will use design software, manage marketing assets, and uphold quality standards across all channels to drive impactful campaigns.

Over two days, learners will:

  • Learn to conduct thorough competitor analysis using various methods and tools, meaning participants can identify market gaps and refine marketing tactics.
  • Confidently adapt marketing content for different media (social media, websites, & print) ensuring the messaging is appropriate and visually appealing.
  • Strategically research, evaluate and select external suppliers to meet specific marketing needs, building skills in contract management and negotiation.

COURSE 4

This course ensures learners can create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across the platforms your customers use daily and make relevant adjustments to meet budget and performance objectives. Participants will gain expertise in using content management systems (CMS) to publish various types of content and additional tools for managing marketing efforts, such as WordPress, Hootsuite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Over two days, learners will:

  • Understand user behaviour across multiple devices and channels, and manage and operate integrated campaigns accordingly.
  • Monitor and adjust campaigns to meet budget and performance objectives, ensuring time and cost efficiency.
  • Measure ROI in marketing campaigns, using tools like Google Analytics and CRM systems.

COURSE 5

Data skills are no longer an advantage, they’re a necessity. This course equips learners with essential skills in data analysis to ensure they make the most of their data and use it to enhance campaign performance. Additionally, we teach participants to leverage current and emerging marketing trends & technologies, such as AI, VR, voice search, and influencer marketing.

Over two days, learners will:

  • Use popular data analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, to record, interpret, and analyse campaign performance.
  • Create and deliver actionable campaign reports driven by data insights, providing strategic recommendations that maximise ROI.
  • Improve decision-making through data-driven insights and performance evaluation, based on measurable results rather than assumptions.

Role Overview

Duration: Up to 17 Months (including End Point Assessment)

As a Multi-Channel Marketer apprentice, you will work under the guidance of your marketing team to support the planning, creation and evaluation of marketing campaigns across various digital channels and social media platforms.

Your role will primarily consist of creating online and offline marketing strategies, targeted campaigns, and written and visual content designed to support customers down the marketing funnel, increase brand authority, and drive revenue.

Salary Expectations

We are proud members of the Decent Wage Pledge and advocate for higher wages for our apprentices. The minimum salary we ask our employers to pay their apprentices is £13,000 though many of our employers pay their apprentices more than this!

The salary of a Multi-Channel Marketer apprentice will vary dependent on your location, company size, and industry. The average salary for a Multi-Channel Marketing apprentice is between £16,000 to £20,000 per year, and apprentices who complete their training and bag a permanent position can expect a salary increase!

1-2-1 COACHING & SUPPORT

Everything we do is built with our learners in mind. To ensure our learners receive the appropriate level of coaching and overall support, each learner has a designated coach that will support them throughout the entirety of their apprenticeship.

Our approach is designed to empower our learners to achieve their full potential, and we take great pride in offering personalised and comprehensive support. We understand that each individual has unique learning needs, goals, and challenges, and we strive to provide tailored support to help our apprentices succeed in their apprenticeship journey.

Working alongside our coaches, we have a dedicated Safeguarding Team. Their main responsibilities are to keep each of our learners safe and protect them from physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic abuse, cyberbullying, radicalisation, among other safeguarding concerns, and provide physical and mental health support and advice.
