In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Microsoft Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A typical day in the job includes:

What You’ll Do:

  • Setting up laptops and peripheral devices (docking stations, screens).
  • Monitoring the IT ticketing system and responding to user queries, troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating incidents or requests as appropriate.
  • Providing orientation and guidance to users on operating new software and computer equipment.
  • Identifying computer or network equipment shortages and placing orders.
  • Assisting in larger projects involving infrastructure changes (servers, networks, and storage) and M365 (SharePoint migrations, tech adoption initiatives, etc.).
  • Contributing to the innovation of the IT environment by researching new technologies and making recommendations.
  • Updating and maintaining documentation.

Hours, salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £13,500 to £16,000 per annum.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Potential to work from home 1 or 2 days a week depending on work load
