Typical Daily Duties:

  • 1st Line Support: Provide support via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face appointments.
  • Hardware & Software Setup: Assist in setting up hardware and software tailored to customer needs.
  • Configuration: Configure laptops and desktops to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Server & Network Setup: Support the setup of servers and contribute to network setups for new businesses/users.
  • PowerShell/Scripts: Utilise PowerShell/scripts to support customers efficiently.
  • Ticket Management: Work on tickets through the Help Desk, ensuring all tickets receive a response within the business SLA.
  • Data Security: Handle password resets and other data security tasks for customers.

Salary, Hours, and Benefits:

  • Salary: £16,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:

  • Hardware and software knowledge is beneficial.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and a passion for IT.
  • Ability to use your own initiative.
  • A Grade 4/C in Maths and a Grade 5/C in English is required for this role.
