This is a fantastic opportunity to learn directly from experienced IT professionals while earning a competitive salary of £16,000 – £19,000 per annum in your first year. In this position, you'll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by Baltic Apprenticeships’ expert training team.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Troubleshooting IT issues using various tools and techniques.
• Communicating via phone, email, Teams, ticketing systems, and face-to-face support.
•  Managing password resets, setting up new user accounts, and using Active Directory.
• Installing and configuring switches, applying patches, and ensuring software is up to date.
•  Rebuilding and installing PCs and devices, as well as building new ones from scratch
•  Monitoring email quarantines and investigating bounce-back emails.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

•  £16,000 – £19,000 per annum
•  Working hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and Thursday/Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break each day)
•  23 days holiday in year one, increasing to 25 days by year three, plus bank holidays

• Eager to learn and grow in the industry
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
• Ability to work towards deadline
• GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 5 in English are essential
