Baltic Apprenticeships is excited to partner with Systems 24/7, a leading provider of IT, AV, CCTV Consulting, and Integration Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn directly from experienced IT professionals while earning a competitive salary of £16,000 – £19,000 per annum in your first year. If you're passionate about IT and ready to learn, this role could be the perfect fit!

In this position, you'll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by Baltic Apprenticeships’ expert training team.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Troubleshooting IT issues using various tools and techniques.
  • Communicating via phone, email, Teams, ticketing systems, and face-to-face support.
  •  Managing password resets, setting up new user accounts, and using Active Directory.
  • Installing and configuring switches, applying patches, and ensuring software is up to date.
  •  Rebuilding and installing PCs and devices, as well as building new ones from scratch
  •  Monitoring email quarantines and investigating bounce-back emails.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.

 

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  •  £16,000 – £19,000 per annum
  •  Working hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and Thursday/Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break each day)
  •  23 days holiday in year one, increasing to 25 days by year three, plus bank holidays

 

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Technically minded with a passion for IT
  • Eager to learn and grow in the industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work towards deadline
  • GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and Grade 5 in English are essential
