As a marketing Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for creating promotional materials, updating the website, managing social media, editing images, photography, copy writing and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Assist with the production of promotional materials including prospectus, brochures, leaflets, postcards and newsletters.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Trust and schools websites. Ensure that websites are up to date at all times.
- Photo editing using Photoshop. Layout creations using InDesign. Creation of school logos using Illustrator.
- Edit videos and presentations as assigned.
- Assist with the management of the Trust’s accounts on social media.
- Assist with the organisation and implementation of events, such as photoshoots and video shoots.
- Conduct research to support PR planning.
- Write, edit and proof-read copy for use in print and online.
- Capture images and audio using video, still cameras and audio equipment.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary – £12,313.60 (Increasing in April 1st 2025 £14,500)
- Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 4 PM / Friday 8 AM – 3:30 PM

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Good verbal and written communication skills appropriate to the need to communicate effectively with colleagues, students and other professionals
- Excellent IT skills and data input i.e Word, Excel
- Organisational Skills
- Creative mindset
- Grade 5/C in Maths and 4/C in English GCSE

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective Content Creator.
