Central Region Schools / Gospel Oak School are recruiting for a driven IT Apprentice to join one of their sites in the area! They have a history of developing ideas and projects to improve people's lives! As an apprentice you will fully immersed in the exciting world of IT, you will be tasked with dealing with hardware, Microsoft Windows and 365, supporting with password resets, setting up and creating new users and much more! You will be given all the tools to build a successful career in the industry. During your apprenticeship you will be closely supported by the IT Manager and the wider IT team, as well as this you will also have a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to provide you with industry expert knowledge!
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Dealing with hardware, Windows and Microsoft 365
- Supporting with password resets
- Setting up and creating new users
- Exposure to some networking including switches, VLANs etc
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £12,314 per annum – raising to £14,500 on the 1st of April
- Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays!

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic IT knowledge and a passion for the subject
- Good focus and commitment to the apprenticeship
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths
