A Typical Day in the Job:
- Develop responsive and user-friendly websites, working across both front-end and back-end development.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate with ATi platforms and ensure seamless functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and address software-related issues, resolve bug reports, and implement fixes.
- Assist in the development process, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and software maintenance.
- Support internal tools and systems to ensure smooth operations for team members.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary: £15,000 – £21,000 (with 6-monthly pay reviews up to £2.5k)
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am- 5pm
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- A genuine eagerness to learn and develop within the software development field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for solving technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Driver’s license required due to occasional office-based work and team collaboration.
- Grade 4/C in Math's and 4/C in English
You will be enrolled in a Level 4 Software Development Apprenticeship, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You'll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
Beyond the fundamental apprenticeship modules, you'll delve into two Be-Spoke modules and one advanced Expert module. This personalised approach will hone your abilities and deepen your expertise, positioning you as a true leader in your field. The Be-Spoke and Expert modules you will complete are:
- Azure Developer Associate: This course is designed for learners who are responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining cloud applications and services using Microsoft Azure. You will gain in-depth knowledge of Azure SDKs, data storage options, APIs, and tools such as Azure CLI and Azure PowerShell, which are essential for developing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.
- Process Improvement: Assess, optimise, and sustain process improvements using data-driven strategies and technology.
- Project Management: Project management essentials: planning, team dynamics, lifecycle stages, goal setting, and risk management.
