A Typical Day in the Job:
- Provide IT support for hardware, software, and network issues to colleagues and clients.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining IT equipment, including PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Support onboarding processes by setting up systems and training new employees on internal tools.
- Learn and utilise tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, PowerShell, and PowerApps to create business solutions.
- Automate tasks and streamline processes using scripting tools like PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for clients, both remotely and on-site.
- Perform installations, updates, and maintenance on customer systems.
- Build positive client relationships by delivering excellent customer service and support.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £17,000 – £21,000 (with £2.5k increments and overtime opportunities)
- 35 hours per week (overtime available)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Enthusiasm for IT and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting others.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
- Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English
Your Training with Baltic:
You will be enrolled in a Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You'll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
Beyond the fundamental apprenticeship modules, you'll delve into two Be-Spoke modules and one advanced Expert module. This personalised approach will hone your abilities and deepen your expertise, positioning you as a true leader in your field. The Be-Spoke and Expert modules you will complete are:
- Problem Solving & Innovation: This course covers problem-solving techniques, defining issues, implementing solutions, and creating an innovative culture.
- Work Safety Requirements: Explore IT workplace safety covering electrical equipment, DSE best practices, and facility maintenance procedures.
- MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals: Demonstrate foundational-level knowledge of cloud-based solutions to facilitate productivity, compliance and collaboration among on-site, remote, and hybrid workers.
