As an IT Support Apprentice, you’ll be supporting customers both internally and externally with any IT-related issues they may have! This role is a hybrid position working 2 days in the office and 3 from home offering more work life balance.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Microsoft IT Support qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Install hardware onto customer units and trailers
  • Attending customers units and trailers to carry out break-fix cases
  • Conduct customer and staff training to familiarise themselves with OpenRad products
  • Ensure that all relevant administrative, quality and regulatory documents are accurately completed and maintained
  • Log and respond to customer support requests received by phone or email
  • Use remote system tools to monitor the performance of customer systems

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to interpret complex instructions and system manuals
  • Experience in building and maintaining productive relationships
  • Great engagement skills
  • A minimum of Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and Grade 5/C in English

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £16,000 – £18,000 per annum.
  • Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
  • 21 days holiday plus bank holiday – increasing with length of service
  • Hybrid working role.
