IT Support Apprentice

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by expert trainers at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Actioning assigned support tickets and responding to inbound customer queries.
  • Logging and analyzing call content to identify common trends and underlying problems.
  • Performing diagnostics using external and internal back-end systems.
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Configuring hardware based on default settings and customer requirements.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:

  • Genuine passion for technology and a curious mind for IT.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to developing new skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service skills – prior experience is beneficial.
  • A Grade 5/C in English and a Grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £14,000 to £16,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, shifts between 8 am and 6 pm

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships:

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. 

 

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualifications and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

 

You’ll be based full-time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
