A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Password resets for clients
  • Working on a ticketing system to resolve IT issues
  • Providing technology support via email, over the phone and video calls
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve IT issues
  • Involved with installing, configuring and upgrading hardware internally
  • Opportunity to maintain/upgrade the internal network system
  • Install and upgrade software virtually for clients
  • Maintain client's databases and manage access

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £16,000 per annum
  • 20 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

  • Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and grace 5/C in English
  • Open and positive attitude towards work, learning, and recreation
  • Confidence in communication within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Any previous experience with IT from college or spare time

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualifications and experience you need to immerse yourself in an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
