Digital Marketing Apprenticeship

Are you a creative and ambitious individual looking to kickstart a career in marketing? Oadby Plastics, the UK’s leading plastics supplier, is looking for a Marketing Apprentice to join our dynamic team!

As a Marketing Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management while working alongside experienced professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, earn while you learn, and build a strong foundation for a future in marketing.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• Creating digital assets for social media in Canva and the Adobe suite
• Supporting the creation of print-ready flyers and brochures
• Assisting social media campaigns and reports
• Writing website news articles and newsletters
• Maintaining WordPress websites and analysing organic SEO results
• Sourcing promotional materials for exhibitions and brand events
• Researching competitors and industry trends for insights
• Evaluating campaign performance
• Reporting on organic SEO activity and SERPs rankings

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £18,000 – £21,000 per annum
• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• Grade 5 in Maths and 4 in English is essential for this role
• An understanding of the digital landscape (e)
• An understanding of how marketing campaigns can support commercial objectives (d)
• An awareness of social media analytics, digital reporting tools and their importance for businesses (d)
• Experience with CMS systems like WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc. (d)
• Experience using social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite (d)
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas, collaborate across departments (e)
• Strong organisational leadership and problem-solving skills. (e)
• Ability to coordinate teams, ensuring Customer Service Excellence. (e)
