As an IT Administrator Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting in managing IT networks, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining and expanding documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator on the daily management of our systems, address technical issues reported by employees, and contribute to the documentation processes.
Their mission is to provide outstanding IT support services in Telford and across the UK, tailored to your specific needs—from corporate data loss prevention to resolving technological issues.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Assist in managing IT networks, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining and expanding documentation
- Work closely with the Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator on the daily management of our systems, address technical issues reported by employees, and contribute to the documentation processes.
- Resolving IT queries such as Windows Server systems, VOIP phone systems, CCTV, system door access, and endpoint computers
- Fixing issues such as Windows operating system, utility software on computers (including client VPN, Microsoft Office, drivers, etc.), basic network troubleshooting, hardware failures, and the expansion of existing Ethernet and CCTV networks
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- Salary – £15,600
- Monday – Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
- 28 Days Annual Leave; including bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- A driving liscence is required for this role
- Understanding of basic computer network operations
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Customer Service Skills
- Passionate about IT
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
