Are you passionate about technology and eager to kick-start your career in IT? Clarke Transport, one of the UK’s leading privately owned logistics companies, is looking for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised IT qualification. You’ll be supporting our IT department with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support, playing a key role in keeping our business running smoothly.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Respond to and resolve initial IT support requests via phone, email, or chat.
- Investigate and resolve advanced technical issues, including hardware and software problems.
- Offer remote support to clients by guiding them through problem-solving steps.
- Provide on-site support when required, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
- Proactive Maintenance
- Conduct user training sessions to improve client knowledge and IT literacy.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £26,686 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm / 8am – 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
- 20 days annual leave, increasing with length of service

- Grade 4 in Maths and 5 in English is essential for this role
