If you’re an aspiring IT Support Technician, we have the role for you!
Sarah Plumbs Ltd are on the hunt for an IT Apprentice to join their growing team! As an apprentice you will be tasked with ensuring all support requests are logged, investigating and resolving technical support requests, creating and maintaining end user domain and much more! You will be immersed in all things IT.
This is not just a 1st line support role, you will be contributing to all aspects of IT in the business from working on projects, infrastructure, hardware and more!

As well as your apprenticeship programme, you will also have access to complete extra certifications such as Microsoft courses and CompTIA – the opportunities to learn and development are endless!
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information, Communications Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Ensure all support requests are logged and updated in the Helpdesk system
- Investigate and resolve technical support requests quickly and efficiently
- Escalate calls to internal or external teams where appropriate
- Creating and maintaining end user domain, email and system accounts
- Assisting in infrastructure upgrade projects
- Creating and updating any role related documentation
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £14,428.05 – £ 16,339.05
- Monday – Thursday 8:25-4:55 / Friday 8:25-1:10
- 24 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- A logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- Good customer service skills

- Grade 4/C in Maths & 5/C in English GCSE
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
